Design Wall
My leader & ender has become the main project. It’s a scrappy Irish Chain with
everything, except the kitchen sink. That’s right – I don’t have fabric with a kitchen sink on it! I have about 6 more scrappy blocks to make and then I can web the whole thing together! Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s put a dent in my 2″ square box. Hmmm, I think that what they say about scraps having sex and multiplying must be true!
This UFO is next to be quilted … it should be a quick finish … I hope! I’m thinking of doing serpentine diagonal lines in both directions … will see what happens …

Scraps totally multiply! I wish I knew how to make a less…inviting environment for them so they would stop!

I have lots of UFO’s to complete. I need to make a list and see what I can complete. Thanks.

Having a UFO list is certainly an eye opener! It makes you more aware of what you are actually doing! Good luck, Judy, with your list!

They both look great. Good luck with using the scraps and celebrate having finished 10 quilts that you hadn’t finished this time last year! At least the number is going down.

Thank you Lynn, for reminding me that I have at least finished 10 quilts! It doesn’t help that I’ve started 18 new projects this year and have only finished 7 of them! groan!

15 yards used! I’m totally impressed! I added 10 and used none. LOL

LOL!!! That’s OK … as long as you’re trying to stash build and not decrease your stash!

Hi Gail,
What?!?! No fabric with a kitchen sink on it?! That 2″ block project is coming together really nicely. I love this new UFO you shared. I think serpentine lines would be fabulous – I love the two different blocks and fabrics you used in this quilt. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne,
The 2 blocks were left over from 2 other projects using a jelly roll. I had to fudge a bit to get the blocks done … but it will make some baby warm and cosy!
