No finishes today … but am working on 3 mystery quilts that the guild is doing. The one on the left is the jelly roll mystery and the 2 on the right are the beginner’s mystery. . And, since I can’t work ahead of the group – all 3 of these quilts will end up on my UFO list in January.

This is the name of Bonnie Hunter’s fall mystery. She has the colour selection out for her mystery that starts at the end of November. I haven’t decided exactly what colours I’m going to use – but I know the chocolate brown will make the cut … but it will all come from stash. If you want to participate in Bonnie’s mystery – go HERE. There’s also a link on the side-bar of this blog.

LOVE the colors Bonnie chose for this year’s Mystery!! Haven’t attempted a fabric pull, yet. We’ll see how that goes. Good luck on finishing your quilts!

Two of the guild mysteries are simple – I’m making a baby & a queen. The other is a more complex jelly roll quilt. Then Bonnie’s … that’ll be 4 mystery quilts. Yes, it’s a lot! But I have finished every single BH mystery that I’ve started – so there is hope!

Hi Gail,
Thanks for the heads up on the new BH mystery quilt along. I don’t know if I can participate, but I sure will take a look! Ooh, the possibilities – it is fun to think about. ~smile~ Roseanne

Roseanne, BH quilts are Lots of fun! And, it’s sort of like being in a workshop with Bonnie. Her clues are very thorough with excellent directions. I find I learn a lot in the making of each one of her quilts!

I have decided to pass on On Ringo Lake. I’ve got too many wonderful Bonnie quilts started so will hold off on this one. Although, I did stop by Lowes to pick up the colors…. Have fun with this mystery.

Well, Bonnie, I was thinking that I wouldn’t tell you that I have 3 BH quilts in progress, but I have Orca Bay (#2), Floribunda, Smith Mountain and a Scrappy Bargello – all in progress … and that’s just off the top of my head – not looking at my UFO list! So … you can always start another one … 🙂
