Sew … what’s happening in my Studio?

Design Wall

IMG_6139.jpegCircles quilt is a flimsy and just needs borders.

Frolic: All of the main blocks and setting triangles are done. Sashing is being sewn on.  I still need to make the corner blocks.

“Dust off your book”:  It’s a work in progress and I can’t show you until the blog hop … hosted by Bea Lea @ Beaquilter.

52 blocks in 52 weeks: It’s sitting on the machine. The bobbins are full.  The machine is threaded, but no quilting has started.

Stash Report

Rag Log Cabin used 16 yards of fabric.   The only fabric I bought this week was organza and it’s already been used in an embroidery project – that I’ll show later.  It was a ½ yard piece and I have never bought organza before in my life!   I even debated whether or not to count it.  But I did.

  • Fabric Used this week        16  yards
  • Fabric Used this year:         39.25  yards
  • Fabric Bought this week:   0.5 yards
  • Fabric Added this year:      0
  • Net Fabric used                    38.75
  • Husband’s Purchases           0

Stitchin’ Time

I’m aiming for at least 15 minutes / day.

  • 15 minute days:  January 31 / 31
  • 15 min days/ Feb = 15 / 16
  • Total days in 2020:  46 / 47
  • Total 39/40 days = 98%

  2. Hi Gail! Look at all of those dones. You had a fabulous week. I am intrigued by the circle quilt – and you’ve got it all together except for borders?! I don’t think that’s a UFO though, but nevertheless, I cannot wait to see it all complete. Good luck this week and thanks for linking up. ~smile~ Roseanne

    • Hi Roseanne,
You’re correct, the circle quilt is not a UFO, it’s a 2020 start … so it MUST be finished this year so that it doesn’t become a UFO!!
      Thanks for hosting “To Do.”
      Happy Quilting! 🙂
