Family Zoom Quilting!

Yes! We Zoomed again … although it was only Terry and I quilting. Cousin Connie felt she needed to be outside in her garden and at the lake (can you blame her?) and my sister, Lynn was not feeling well, but she did visit with us from time to time.

I finished my “Hello Fall” project! So you’ll see that during the “Hello Fall” Blog Hop … my day is Sept 22. And if you ask me, it’s just stinking cute!

The other project I worked on was the “Scrappy Repro” UFO … I managed to finish up all the blocks and decided on a layout where I won’t have to match seams. Yup, I know that’s being lazy – but I’m not totally in love with this project any more, so it’s just got to be DONE.

Here’s a picture of my blocks in progress today!

EXCITING WEEK Ahead!

This week starts the Island Batik “It’s in the Bag Blog Hop.” I don’t think I’ve ever been excited for a blog hop as this one! All of the ambassadors are making projects byAnnie and there are some beautiful eye candy coming your way! Plus an opportunity to win some Island Batik fabric. I am aiming for 30 minutes/day – at least!  I switched from 15 minutes / day to 30 minutes/day in April!

  • 30 min days/  Sept:   13 / 13 edit: 6/6
  • Total days in 2020: 251/ 255
  • Percentage = 98%

  2. Sounds like you’ve got a fun, but busy week in the works. Congrats on all the progress in the sewing room. I was wondering how you managed to squeeze 13 days of stitching time into September when the date was only the 6th? That’s some serious stitching time!

  6. I have my Hello Fall project done; just need to take photos and write the post – oh, and check which day I’m posting – LOL. I’m excited to see the IB projects; I sewed along with one of the quilters, so you’ll see my post on that the same day she posts. It was pretty fun!
