I used a strip set from Island Batik called “Playful Purples” and Island Batik solid white for the background. If you want to use the same fabric, both the strip set and the solid white is available at Creekside Quilts HERE.

Are you sure the amount of background fabric is enough? When I add up the pieces to be cut, it looks like more would be needed, 2.5 yards or so. Are the 1.5″ strips full width of fabric?
