Sewing with Friends

Sewing with friends is always fun!

There were 4 of us sewing today.

Linda worked on a BOM lotto for the guild.  I think this block is really really cute!

  • EDIT: This block was designed by Melva Nolan and is available in Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, Vol. 8, Winter 2013.img_3061.jpg

Cathy was working on a block for a round robin … she’s using Tula Pink fabric (her favourite).  She’s done round robins with the Vancouver Modern Guild before and they have turned out pretty neat!

Barb was working on a table runner from a kit.  A bunch of us bought this kit years ago … I remember making it, but have no idea where the finished table runner ended up.  It’s certainly very pretty. (French General fabric).

Me?  I was working ona secret project.  You will get to see the quilt in March.

Happy Quilting!

    • Hi Vivian~
Ah … but I didn’t show any of my fabric … the table runner fabric might be 3 Sisters … someone thought it was French General … at any rate – it’s beautiful fabric!
      Happy Quilting! 🙂

    • Hi Melva
The block is for the guild … lots of people will be making it and one lucky person will take them all home to make a quilt! They usually turn out to be beautiful quilts!
      Happy Quilting! 🙂

  1. Hi Gail! Well, that’s a little sneaky. It is fun quilting with friends – I get to do it all the time with my bestie. Can’t wait for March to get here as it is . . . but now you’ve given me one more thing to look forward to. Happy Friday to you! ~smile~ Roseanne
