Here is a list of all the things I hope to do in 2024. I don’t make resolutions … they are just promises that I’m unable to keep. So the list works best for me.
SAHRR

Five blogging friends and I will take you on the adventure of creating your own SAHRR (Stay At Home Round Robin. ). This will be starting on January 15. You can read more about it HERE.
Island Batik

This will be my 6th year as an Island Batik Ambassador. I am so looking forward to all the challenges and working with the most wonderful fabric in the world! You can see all my 2023 Island Batik creations HERE.
2024 Colour Challenge

I’m doing this challenge again in ’24. It’s fun to make all the blocks that Jen has designed. They are always a little different than the usual blocks, but she makes them easy and fun. The block is free for each month, then there is a small charge for it. Here is a link to January’s block. It’s green. I will be using scraps of Island Batik fabrics. You can see my 2023 Colour Challenge quilt HERE.
No PHD in 2024
I will not be doing the PHD in 2024, because I do not have enough UFOs! I’m very happy about that. However, Sharon from MS P Designs is hosting it! Visit her blog if you wish to take part.

Commitment!
This is going to be my word for 2024. The one main thing that helped me reduce my UFOs was to finish what I started. So, I’m committing to finishing what I start. Now, this doesn’t happen on it’s own, I need to be accountable for it. So, I’ve developed a tracker to assist me and I will give monthly updates.
Here is the tracking you can use if you wish:
And, since I can’t start the New Year without new projects, I’ve started 3! Here is my commitment:

I have a Finish Already!
Yes! My daughter asked me to make some zipper pouches with Shweshwe fabric. She picked out the fabric and chose the zippers.

Link Parties
I will continue to join in many Linky parties. They are a fun way to share what I’m working on and to see what others are doing! These include, but are not limited to:

Upcoming Blog Hops

Carol (from Just let Me Quilt) and Joan (from Moose Stash Quilting) have a fantastic line of fun blog hops planned for 2024. I hope to participate in each one.
A Fun Listen!
This song is fun!!! The intro is a bit long, but it tells a bit of the story … if you just want to listen to the song, start at 2:10. And yes, my husband loved it!
One who sleeps under a quilt is covered by LOVE!
Happy Quilting!

Hi Gail, I had a nice long message but couldn’t post because WordPress and I had a difference of opinion – it’s now resolved! It’s wonderful that you were able to graduate with a PHD by not having enough UFOs to finish! That is a real victory 🙂 Commitment is a great word and I hope that you get everything you start this year finished. I’m still working on that. Take care.

LOL!!! I do hope that COMMITMENT is able to carry me through! I really, really, really, don’t want to have a huge UFO list again!!! 🙂

A very doable list for 2024. I’m really looking forward to the SAHRR. I need to get my fabrics washed and pressed. Thank you for linking up for the 15 minutes to stitch. You do so well at using your stitching time well.
