Brenda chose the Half Log block. I decided to just do a Quarter Log Block … remember, you get to do what you want in the Round Robin … it’s your quilt!

For my SAHRR 2025, I am using the Island Batik fabric collection “Poetic Bouquet,” designed by Kathy Engle for Heidi Pridemore of The Whimsical Workshop and Island Batik’s solid white.

Pictures of Prompt #4
- Fauntie has started her round of stars! She says, “Not sure what I’m going here but next week I’ll have time to work on it”
- Judy sent 2 pictures of her quilt from different angles.
- Kristen said, ” I put two rounds together, Friendship Star and the sliced square, since February has been a busy month.”
- Carolyn said, “This week’s was something I have never done. Had to try a couple different measurements to keep each block square. Maybe next time I could do it with rectangles.”
- Katie said, “I used the slashed squares for the corners of the star, but I modified them to use 2 different pinks in the corners. Looking forward to the next round! I can’t take credit for the hedgehogs–they were in a scrap bag!! They are so cute I wanted to showcase them.”
- Jacomina said, “Glad to have 2 slashed blocks continuing the triangles. It will be interesting to see where the friendship stars will end up”
- Robin’s not pleased with hers. I like the different corners!
- Rosie said, “here is my pic with round 3 and 4 added.”

We have Sponsors!
We reached out to several companies that we all LOVE and many of them agreed to sponsor the SAHRR 2025!!! We will keep track of all of the participants that link to our Linky parties each week. We will make a list and use a random number generator to choose the winners for each prize! So, if you link up to 3 Linky parties, you will have 3 opportunities to win! If you don’t have a blog or Instagram account, contact me, or one of the other co-hosts and we will post your SAHRR on our blog. This way you still have an opportunity to win!

- One of 3 fat quarter bundles from Island Batik:
- Flutter Fields
- Shadow Blooms
- Bubbles curves and corners!
- Oliso Pro Plus Iron
- Hobbs Batting
- Fat Quarter Shop
- Aurifil
- A pattern of YOUR choice from A Quiltery
- A quilt pattern from Devoted Quilter
- A pattern from Sew Fresh Quilts

Your colors are working out so well. The purple after the teal works really well. I’m sad we’ve just got one more week left.
