My Update

Thank you to all who commented on Sarah’s quilt.  She wrote, “super excited about everyones reaction! I will send pictures of my other quilts and hopefully new ones that i will make.”  You can see here quilt HERE.

Design Wall

This is Quilt #14 made from my Grandma’s fabrics.  I need to add a few borders and quilt it.  It’s an “Uneven 9 Patch.”  I know that I was getting really low on Grandma’s fabrics, but when I did my clean-up, I found this piece of yardage that I had been given years and years ago.  I know that it’s a true vintage fabric, not from just when I received it, but because it is only 35″ wide!

A Feline Finish

This quilt showcases “cats”.  I started it earlier this year.  It will soon be on it’s way to an aunt that LOVES cats and needs some quilty love.

  1. What a beautiful quilt your Gramdmother’s fabric made! I am a dog person, but wow! Your cat quilt could make me fall in love with cats! It’s so cute! Your own pattern? So very fun! Congratulations on staying in the black with your stash and your finishes! Thank you for sharing!

  2. What a beautiful quilt being made with Grandma’s fabrics. It will be a keepsake for sure. Love the feline finish. I am sure your aunt will love it to pieces when she gets it. –Andrea

  3. What good progress you’re making on both the stash and the UFOs. I very much like the latest quilt you’ve made with your grandmother’s fabric. You made me smile, because when I first started quilting, fabric was 36″ wide, as a norm.

  5. I wished I had seen Quilt #14 before I finished my 9-patch. I like the way you completed the chain with your finish. Mine just sort of wanders off into a border. Thanks for sharing. I learned something new.
