More UFOs?
That’s right … I was searching for some fabric that I knew I had somewhere … and I opened this container and discovered more UFOs. There was a bunch of rectangles that I know were intended for zipper bags and some squares from a panel that were suppose to be pillow covers, but I had made handles and I think I was thinking of making a little bag.I do NOT want to add them to my UFO list. Sew – what’s a gal to do?
That’s right – sew them up right away and get them done & out of sight! Or at least out of the UFO sight! And then I won’t have to include them in a future UFO list!
The rectangles are from pre-quilted fabric … and for the life of me, I can’t remember why I bought it … I’m a quilter and I like quilting …oh well … it was ages ago and who knows what I was thinking! Anyhow … I rummaged through my bag of zippers and found some that co-ordinated with the fabric and proceeded to make some zipper bags.
For the pillow tops/ bag – I decided that every bag needs to have inside pockets – so I went into the container that had fabric from the same line and found a few scraps to make the pockets.
Here is the front and back of the bag:
SEW … nothing added to the UFO list!!! And I certainly hope that I do NOT find any more UFOs!

Great job getting those UFOs finished up so quickly especially when they were not even on your list.
My UFOs are not small, quick items. All of mine are quilts. They roll out slowly since I work full time, but they are getting done one by one.
Thanks for the UFO challenge. I will have another finish by the end of the month.

Hi Gail,
Wow – great save!! Even though the fabric was pre-quilted, the bags turned out fab.

You need a new column on you spreadsheet “Unidentified UFOs” 🙂

Very nice bags Gail. I don’t have as many UFOs as you have, but several for sure. I keep finding leftovers from the BH mysteries and I haven’t even really started On Ringo Lake. Today, I’m going to do a trial block of the quilt I plan for my Grandson, Dan, for his graduation. A year should give me time to complete! Take care, enjoy our long weekend ……. summer at last!

I have had that happen to me! Most recently I opened one applique project to find another one hidden inside. I still haven’t decided whether to acknowledge it or not!

Way to go for getting them whipped into something and not on the list! I’m pretty sure I’ll unearth more UFOs if I start looking. My pile was decreasing, but then I started doing QALs and it began increasing again. Sigh. Teeter totter quilting – gotta love it!
