I made this quilt eons ago … it was a wedding gift. I received a picture today … evidence that it is still in use! AWESOME!!! That’s what I want … my quilts being used.
I really dislike it when people say that they put it in the closet and are saving it. What are they saving it for? Use them. (Enough of my rant!) This quilt is being used and I LOVE that!
I had forgotten that I had put a verse from Philippians on a label … it might have been on their wedding invitation or … who knows … but it reminds me of how fitting it is for the couple that received it! They have both grown in grace and gentleness!

Here’s a picture of the whole quilt. Designed by me with input from my daughter. The colours are more true in the picture above. The quilting was all stitch in the ditch.

Jennifer from Wednesday Wait Loss featured my July Island Batik wall hanging! As did Denise from Put Your Foot Down. You can read about it HERE.

One who sleeps under a quilt is covered by LOVE!
Happy Quilting!

It’s always nice to know they love it so much that they don’t want anything to happen to it but not if they aren’t enjoying it in someway. Thank you so much for linking up to Put your foot down last week.

Lovely finish. So satisfying to pull something out and finish it once and for all. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.

What a beautiful wedding quilt and I love the verse on the back. So happy to hear that some folks USE the quilts rather than stashing them away for who knows what.

I’d rather have my quilts that I give away loved and used than thought to be too precious and stuck away i a closet. That is a pretty quilt, and perfect for a wedding. Great idea on the label too!
