Clue #4: Making Half-Square Triangles

Take the (36) 7.5” x 7.5” squares from Clue #2, put the pairs right sides together. Mark the diagonal line.  Sew a scant ¼” on each side of the diagonal line. Cut apart.  Each pair will yield 2 Half Square Triangles.  Press to the dark side.  DO NOT SQUARE THEM UP!!   I repeat DO NOT SQUARE THEM UP!!
