I wish!
Another Finish
My husband has been bugging me to make a quilt for the grand-dog. I had made one a few years ago, but it went home with her mama. I decided to make one, using some dog fabric that I had left over. I kept it a secret and the grand-dog got it for Christmas. It’s 28″ x36″ and has a plush backing. Although it’s difficult to see, there are bones quilted all over it. You might be able to see them better on the backing!
Stitching Stuff
Kate, from Life in Pieces, is hosting “Stitching Stuff” and the goal is to sew for at least 15 minutes a day. I use Kate’s guideline, but my personal goal is to sew for 30 minutes a day. On those “blah” days, it does motivate me to sit at my machine and 30 minutes often turns into several hours. Thank you Kate for the motivation!

Donna at Quilt Paint Create hosts a weekly linky party where you can display your stash numbers. This has really kept my stash from growing (somewhat!) Before I buy anything, I am always mindful of the fact that I need to report it on my blog … That sometimes stops me in my tracks!
No purchases this week, but the dog quilt used up 2 yards.
I was hoping to make it to 200 yards used … but I’m 2.5 yards short. Oh well. My stash isn’t going anywhere, so hopefully I can dream and make 200 yards next year.
