Almost a finish!

Yes, the quilt I’ve been quilting on for ages and ages is now completely quilted.  Just the binding to go and I’ve started putting the binding.  I was hoping that it would be finished before this post went live, but alas, it’s not.  Maybe today, I might just “get ‘er done!”  Hopefully, I’ll be able to get a picture of the whole quilt by Sunday.  The forecast is for rain, rain, rain … so if there is a break, I’ll get a picture.

  1. Hi Gail. I love new projects too! This week I made a small dent in the UFOs. Michelle and I started a BOM in 2008 at A Great Notion. It was put aside in 2009 when I had kidney cancer. I made more blocks in 2016/17 and Judy quilted them this year. The last stitch went into the binding in #2 on Wed and on Thursday I presented them to PAQ and they will be donated to Durrand House. It was such a wonderful feeling. UFOs down to about 10. Its a good week for sewing…..rain for the next week…..heard on radio this morning. Enjoy!!! Dianne

    • Hi Dianne! How neat that 2 UFOs are done and donated! I know Durrant House will greatly appreciate them! And down to only 10 UFOs! Good for you!! I’ve got a long way to go before I reach that number! Yes, rain, rain, rain … there goes my plans for long spring walks … Happy Quilting! 🙂
