Elephant Quilt
Do you remember this wonderful All Star elephant quilt from “The Steam Trunk?” Well, if you are interested, she now has kits and patterns available.
Another Finish
Yeah, I finished “Pink Hearts.” The binding is on. No label as I’m waiting to see who it is going to go to …
Two finishes this month. That brings my total to 18 … and we’re half-way through the year. To achieve my PHD in 2018, I have 10 UFOs and the 3 quilts that I started this year that aren’t done. I think I might be able to achieve this!!!
Visit these blogs to find out their June PHD in 2018 Update and cheer them on! They are all working on finishing UFO designated quilts and finishing the ones they started this year!

So impressed with how well you are doing with your goals. Question – for fabric used, do you just do an estimate?

Thanks, Kathleen.
For fabric used … I usually go back to the original pattern or EQ to see what the pattern calls for. And, I usually know how much I used for the back, so I add the 2 together. Sew .. in a way, it’s only a close estimate. It’s definitely not totally accurate. However, when I think about why I am doing the tally of fabric … it’s to see if I use up more than I buy. This year, it’s a great deal more used. 🙂
Happy Quilting! 🙂

Happy Canada Day to you too Gail. I had a finish too, last night. One of those very old ones when I was following BH using old shirts. I have one more of those….Tumalo Trail….that I hope to finish this week. I’m not so thrilled with old shirts now, but they make nice donation quilts. Enjoy our holiday even though the sky is very overcast!…..Dianne
