The Hello Fall Blog Hop is hosted by Carla, from Creatin’ in the Sticks.
I made 3 table toppers. Two of them will go on end tables and the third will go on a small table between our recliners in the living room.

The pumpkins are applique patterns from Anita GoodDesigns Autumn Harvest 2.
The background fabric is Island Batik “Custard” and the pumpkin is “Copper” from Island Batik’s basics. The batting is Hobbs 80/20 and the quilting is done with Aurifil #2370.
Once the applique was done, the quilting was simple : loops and a stipple.
Here’s each of the toppers individually:

Such fun pumpkins! Perfect fall decorations. I had some of the copper in my box last year, I loved it! And I used it all!

Thanks, Emily! I can see why you used all your copper! I was given a 2 yard cut … and it’s dwindling down! 🙂 It goes perfect with Sundance!

Gail I do like these toppers with your pumpkins having such unique expressions. I’m laughing thinking of Suzy’s comment about the leaves being antlers with a plate on the topper! 😉

Thanks, Carol! Trust Suzy to think outside the box and to put antlers on a pumpkin topper! LOL!!!

Those are so adorable!! I envy you quilters who decorate your homes for each holiday. I’m lucky if I remember to remove my Menorah from the year before!!

Don’t be too envious … this is the first time that the little tables have something seasonal on them. I still have to make a topper for the piano … maybe next year! 🙂 And, if you leave the Menorah up all year, then you don’t have to get it out and viola! you’re all ready! 🙂

Hi Robin! Thank you! An embroidery machine has certainly changed the way I look at applique! (easy, peasy!!) And, I wouldn’t be without it for making labels for all my quilts! 🙂
