Just to remind you … SAHRR is Stay At Home Round Robin. If you missed the previous posts about this year’s SAHRR – you can see them
Today is the day that Emily @ The Darling Dogwood told us to add Plus signs our 2nd round.
Here it is … My plus signs are 3″ x 3″ once the next border is added. And leaving the corner square as a plain white block might be my theme throughout this round robin!
Again, I continued to use a variety of fabrics from Island Batik’s Ohana collection.

Make sure to visit all of the other co-leaders and link up to Emily’s linky party to show us your piano key and plus borders!!

You picked a great color palette for this project. The plus blocks work well with that light purple background. Looking forward to seeing the next round.

Thanks, Susan! So far, the fabric is all from the same collection – so it’s bound to coordinate nicely! 🙂

I love your batiks! Well here’s a case of “I wish I had done that!” – I really like the white cornerstones. I’ve already got a different cornerstone on the first border, but I might steal your idea anyway. 🙂

Thanks, Linda! You can still switch to a plain cornerstone … or not … it’s your quilt! And, it’s not stealing “my” idea! It’s just seeing something you like and copying it! 🙂 Perfectly acceptable in this case! Each of my co-hosts are taking each round differently. And what is cool, that none of it is planned. But it also gives followers ideas for what they might want to do!
Happy Quilting! 🙂

Very fun so far. I like your “space” blocks in the corner. I’ve been playing around with some medallion quilt designs and I seem to prefer a simpler, cleaner look like that. Enjoying watching everyone’s grow!

Hi Cheree!
I guess the SAHRR is very much like a medallion quilt! It is fun to see everyones, isn’t it?

Very nice addition. Emily’s plus sign is something that never would have occurred to me in the realm of quilting.

The IB fabrics in your quilt makes it look so fresh – makes me think of Spring. I like the corner squares in white, I think it makes the colors pop.

Hi Gail! Ooh, those IB fabrics are really shining. I adore that fabric in the background of the Plus Sign blocks. It does its job of letting the pluses shine as well as pulling that color out in the center medallion. Nice job! I can’t wait to see the next round. ~smile~ Roseanne
