I am hosting TGIFF this week!
Here is my finish. It’s left-overs from a lone star quilt that I made earlier this year using Island Batik’s Naturescape fabric collection, solid grey and a blender. You can read about the Lone Star HERE. I will show you a close-up of the back next week when I showcase “Perfectly Pieced Backs” a new book by Kelly Young.
Quilt Stats:
- 48″ X 55″
- Hobbs 80/20 is in the middle
- Wild / Grafitti quilting
- Island Batik Fabric: Naturescape, Solid Grey and Blender: BE24-E2
- Pieced with Aurifil 2000 (Light Sand)

You’d never guess the guilt was from left overs. Very pretty finish.

Sometimes, left-overs are just as good, or better, as the first time around. Just like food! 🙂

The nature scape palette is just lovely. I like your pattern too. It looks like a good one for pre cut strip sets.

Thanks, Laura Kate! Yes, it probably would work for pre-cut strips! :-). Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Gail
There must be something in the air this week….I have a Rubbermaid tote with many tops inside and decided to get busy. Two just needed binding and two more needed to be quilted and bound, so tomorrow is binding day for those four!! Yay – so fun to see them all done.
