A Friday Flimsy!

The flimsy from the Square Dance Mystery is done.  It’s 24″ square.  I’m debating whether or not to put a border on it.  The directions for assembling this quilt are well written.  And see that centre star?  She has a unique technique for making those long half triangle squares.  It was easy! No messing with weird shapes.  If you want to make this little topper or a bigger quilt, the steps are still available at “From My Carolina Home.”

Do you remember?

Feb '18Way back in February, my husband and I had a sandwiching marathon.  You can read about it HERE

They are all completed: You can read the blog post on each finish.  From Top to bottom they are:

    • Yes, Tish, she has a brilliant solution for those shapes. It does waste a bit of material – but for avoiding headaches- I think it’s worth it!
      Happy Quilting! 🙂

  1. That’s a lot of beautiful, finished quilts! I like to layer a lot of quilts at once as well. I’m impressed that you got square dance done so quickly!

    • Thanks, Roseanne! Yes, it does feel great!
Unfortunately, or fortunately, I’m sure there will be another sandwiching marathon in the very near future. It certainly helps to get those UFOs done, done, done!
      Happy Quilting! 🙂

    • Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for your opinion on adding borders. I’m thinking I will!
The fabric is all “Kansas Troubles.” They’ve been a favourite of mine ever since I found out about them.
      Happy Quilting! 🙂
