Woohoo!!! I’m so excited that this UFO is done, DONE, DONE!
That is 2 UFOs completed for February! (Does it make up for the fact I didn’t finish one in January?)
My Excel sheet tells me that I started this in 2008 … however, I do know that my husband bought the material when we were in Pennsylvania in 2007 … it’s an old UFO! This quilt is 90″ x 90″ square … Hobbs batting … Auriflil thread … the binding is 2 colour. (red is 1 ¾”, green is 1 ½” and I’m liking the sizes!)
Close-ups of the quilting:
Happy Quilting!

Oh honey, if 2007 is old, I have a UFO that is positively vintage! Hahaha! Yay for you, finishing two in a month. This is a pretty quilt, no matter its age! What a fun finish to celebrate!

Hi Wendy!
I had to laugh when I read your post!
Considering that I didn’t get back into quilting until late fall 2005 and it was 2006 when I started having UFOs … 2007 is old for me.
Now, I do have a few of my grandma’s quilts to finish … she died in ’78, but those are not on my UFO list. One is being very slowly hand quilted … the other is just a few blocks in a box … one day I’ll finish them …
Happy quilting! 🙂

Nice finish. Sometimes it feels good to get those old ones out and work on them.

Hi Gail! Woohoo is right. Look how lovely those fabrics go together. I love, love, LOVE them. I’m going to have to go to your website so I can admire the quilting up close – it sure looks good. You must be more comfortable tackling any FMQ design you choose now. You are back on track for finishing up your UFO goals for the year. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne,
My hubby picked out the fabrics … I’m always impressed with what he comes up with!
As for feeling more comfortable tackling any FMQ design … ha! There are several that I don’t do … and don’t feel comfortable with … and yes, they are probably easy peasy for some people … but intimidate me!
I’m hoping I’m back on track for the PHD / UFO goals …
Happy Quilting! 🙂
