Winnie The Pooh Quilt ALong – Day 2

3CC52214-17FE-4618-8F68-1434FB2725ADDay 2

I am making the large quilt (46 x46″)

Cut the fabric for Winnie the Pooh. This took me approximately 35 minutes.  It may take you longer or you may be faster. It’s OK either way!

HINTS

 Cut the largest pieces first!

Label each of your pieces … it will save you time later!

TO DO

I’m linking up to Roseanne & Sue’s “TO DO” Tuesday. Their blog is “Home Sewn by Us.”

Last week’s list:

  1. Finish June’s Island Batik  project √   done  (see it HERE)
  2. Start Winnie the Pooh  √   done  – well it’s started (I need to keep ahead …)

This week’s list:

  1.  Work on Winnie the Pooh
  2. Finish “Stitching Sunshine” project
  3. Pick a UFO to work on … and work on it

Did you see?

My latest quilt for Island Batik.  This month’s theme was a “free” theme … and I had a ton of fun making and quilting this one!  You can see more details HERE.

  1. I think I see how you have been doing so well with all your goals this year! No messing around… the QAL is started with a bang, and she’s off! You suspect are going to be done while I am still thinking about my next move – and that’s the improved me! haha Great going, and thanks for sharing at the Chameleon’s Colour & Inspiration party.

    • Oh Dione, you “get” me … right now, it seems like I’m pedal to the metal … I keep wondering when it’s going to change back to normal?
Happy Quilting! And thank you for hosting Chameleon’s Colour & Inspiration party! 🙂

    • Hi Connie,
No, you did not miss a post … I just haven’t posted the amounts I used yet … For Tigger – it was just scraps … for Eeyore, I used a 9″ strip (WOF) for the blue … I’ll be putting these in a future post.

  3. Gorgeous quilt, looks very stained glass. I’m joining you with the Winnie the Pooh SAL! Glad we’re doing the project with reasonable steps.
