My Friday Finish

It’s a simple finish, but one I can show you! This month’s the Colour Challenge is based on the Bay Leaf. It’s like a rail fence, but the measurements are not all the same. Visit Patterns by Jen for the free pattern. And, I did use Island Batik fabric …

And, Jen requested that we also show you our “green” quilts. And yes, all 4 of the following quilts used Island Batik fabric!

One who sleeps under a quilt is covered by LOVE!

I was Featured:

Jennifer, from Inquiring Quilter, featured my quilt finish from last week. You can read about it HERE.

Muv, from Lizzie Lenard Vintage Sewing, featured the mystery quilt that I hosted at the guild.

Happy Quilting!

  1. The fabrics in that green block are so pretty! Love the colors, and your green quilts! What fun the color challenge is. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.

  2. Hi Gail!! Ooh, I just LOVE those IB fabrics for this month’s green colors. The darker green plays SO nicely with that gorgeous lighter green with vine-type wisps throughout. LOVE it! And we started cutting fabric for our version of your bear baby quilt. Love that, too! I’m so excited to get to sewing it together. It’s definitely a drop-everything-and-make-it moment. Like, right NOW moment. {{{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

    • Well, those 3 are the only Storm at Sea quilts I’ve done! The single block was just a “is this going to work?” block. And the other 2 were for last November’s Island Batik challenge. They are pretty amazing blocks – with so much potential!
