A Winner!
My last post was about the Arabesque Pattern from mmmquilts that I tested. The winner from commenting on my blog is Joyce Carter! Sandra will be sending her a free pattern.

Stitching Stuff

Kate, from Life in Pieces, is hosting “Stitching Stuff” and the goal is to sew for at least 15 minutes a day. I use Kate’s guideline, but my personal goal is to sew for 30 minutes a day. On those “blah” days, it does motivate me to sit at my machine and 30 minutes often turns into several hours. Thank you Kate for the motivation!

It’s crazy how different that quilt looks in different colors. Even though I know this to be true, it always surprises me when I see it.

I really like the design on the quilts. Sigh….maybe someday I will work on a more “difficult” design

Hi Marsha! Sometimes, things look very difficult, but in reality are pretty simple! I find that it ‘stretches’ me to try different designs! Go ahead and try something you think might be difficult. Just start with a small size … you’ll surprise yourself!

You’ve been busy! I’m 2 months behind on the Magnificent Mystery, so am playing catch up. You are doing much, much better than I am on most stitching fronts.
