Piecing

Last week, I told you I was piecing 3 other projects …

One is finished, finished, finished!  … (yeah) but I can’t show you until July.

One is ready to sandwich … but I can’t show you until July!

The Fractured Paint brush is ready to be sandwiched.  I will be opening a new roll of Hobbs 80/20 for this quilt!

    • You will see ALL the quilts – eventually! I just can’t show them right now. 🙂 I only let you know that I’m working on them so that you don’t think that I’ve abandoned my sewing machines! 🙂

  2. Rats for us — no pictures until later. Yea! for you for finishing one quilt and moving several on. And, your doing a great job of sewing most days. Hum, I’ve been reading and relaxing this last week but my mojo has returned and I plan to sew some today. Enjoy your week.

  3. Hi Gail! While I am thrilled for you that you were so productive this weekend, it’s not all that fun for us. We don’t like to wait to see stuff! I guess I should qualify that and say I don’t like to wait as I really cannot speak for your other blog readers. Rock on, sister! Happy quilting. ~smile~ Roseanne

    • Roseanne, you are not alone is saying that you don’t like to wait! I’ve had at least 3 comments to that affect! I’m assuming that there are also others that thought the same thing, but didn’t take the time to comment! 🙂 Rest assured – you will see the quilts in the future! 😉
      Happy Quilting! 🙂

  4. Oh my goodness, this looks fabulous. Love the colors, the piecing and the neatness of each block – absolutely perfect widths of the black fabric in between make me jealous 🙂
What is your preferred place to buy the roll of Hobbs 80/20? Have a fun-filled weekend.

    • Hi Preeti,

Thank you! The blocks are actually paperpieced blocks – that I do without sewing on the paper. That makes each block almost perfect.

I was given a lot of Hobbs from Hobbs for Island Batik – but in the past I have bought my rolls from Dinkydoo Fabrics … when they have a sale on – it’s worth it and if you live in Canada, they deliver to your door for free!!! Sign up for their newsletter & you’ll know when it’s on sale!

      Happy Quilting! 🙂
