Not much to show!

I’ve been sick … but I won’t gross you out with the details.

Today I saw a robin!!!  YAY!!! Spring is on the way!  Sorry, no picture,  I wasn’t fast enough before it flew away!

I thought I was making great progress on Bonnie Hunter mystery,  Good Fortune … as I said in my last post, Ithought I had all the grey sides added on,  … I did but I had to unsew about 10 of them as I didn’t have the white making the X.  All I’ve done is finished the ripping, but haven’t sewn them back together.

Stitchin’ Time

OK … I’m not doing so great at my 15 minutes of sewing a day.  Even though I’m only counting the days I’m home …  It’s Jan 26,  so that’s 26 days … I was away 11 days total … that’s 15 days … I’ve sewn 11 of the 15 days … that makes for 73%.   Oh well, as one friend said, 60% is a passing grade … at least I’m a bit above that!

  1. Hi Gail, I’ve decided that some days I can’t fit in 15 minutes of sewing so I’ve switched it up to be ‘1 seam a day’. Sometimes that ALL I can manage! But at least it’s progress, right? 🙂 I hope you’re feeling better soon!

    • Hi Beth!
Yes, some days just don’t have time for sewing … but it’s on the days that I really don’t feel like sitting down, that when I do … the 15 minutes turn into a lot longer and I end up really enjoying my time!
And yes, one seam a day … it’s all progress! There isn’t a single project that was made that isn’t by “one stitch at a time!”
      Happy Quilting! 🙂

  2. I’m sorry you’ve been sick – and pray you’ll be on the mend soon! You are doing great with your stats! Life can be distracting and pull us away from what we love. I hope you’re on the mend soon!

  3. Illness aside, don’t beat yourself up if you don’t sew every day. There will be days for more sewing and some for less. Your good fortune has wonderful colors. While I was sick I also did not make my X’es right and used the seam ripper more than I ever have. May you hobby flourish and your illness be cured!

    • Well, I haven’t bought any fabric – that’s for sure.

I am feeling better. Thanks! The flu is a drag … but at least it has passed and I’m just getting over the exhaustion part!

      Happy Quilting! 🙂
