TO DO
I like to make lists at the beginning of the week, but I’ll still like up to Roseanne & Sue’s Home Sewn by Us on Tuesday.
Last week’s list:
- Start November’s Island Batik Challenge cutting started
- Prep 2 blocks from 52 blocks in 52 weeks done Week 27 & 28 prepped
- Sew 2 blocks from 52 blocks in 52 weeks done Week 22& 23 completed
- Finish at least 2 blocks from “Smith Mountain Morning” done – 44 left to make
- the designer requests that we not put on the total # of blocks … so, I’m just telling you what I have left to make (and yes, I’m making it bigger than the pattern)
- Each of the 44 blocks have some portions done. The star blocks have all the units made – just need to join them as 9 patches. The chimney & Cornerstone blocks all have at least the first round on …
- Quilt “Squirrel” … not even sandwiched
This week

- Prep 2 blocks from 52 blocks in 52 weeks
- Sew 2 blocks from 52 blocks in 52 weeks
- Finish at least 2 blocks from “Smith Mountain Morning”

One who sleeps under a quilt is covered by LOVE!

In the meantime … Happy Quilting! 🙂

Lots of blue and brown going on there! It’s my favorite color combo. Looking forward to seeing Smith Mountain Morning sewn together.

I have to smile at how much more your husband bought when he was adding it to YOUR totals! =) That is a lot of blocks on the wall.

Yes, he did add more when he didn’t have his own total! However, he also hasn’t been shopping (for fabric) with me this year. He’s be focusing on washing machine parts, insulation and cement … 🙂
Happy Quilting! 🙂

Hi Gail! I like to make lists on Mondays, too. Since I host on Tuesdays . . . I guess I HAD to change. HAHA! I actually had a Monday off last week and got some projects finished for Tuesday’s update . . . so the adjustment isn’t so bad. I love hearing about progress even if you can’t share a photo. And, thanks in advance for linking up tomorrow!! ~smile~ Roseanne

Thanks, Roseanne!
Blogging my list is making me at least focus on a few things instead of spreading myself thin and trying to do 20 things at once! Hmmm .. my list still has 6 items … we’ll see if I get them done!
Thanks for hosting TO DO!!
Happy Quilting! 🙂
