I have another finish!! I cut into my Island Batik rayon and finished a top! It’s the same pattern as the one I showed last week (see HERE) – except I altered the neckline a bit. It fits perfectly! My hubby is not home at the moment, so no photos with it on me! Just one of it pinned onto the design wall!

Blog Hop roundup Week 3
I had one finish in October. You can read about it HERE.
Here’s the October Report for Participants
Kate @ Life in Pieces is working along … she’s posting her “TO Do” list every week … I’m not sure which projects are UFOs and which are new starts, but I’m sure she’ll update us soon!
Tish @ Tish’s Adventures in Wonderland has been faithfully finishing all of her beautiful Island Batik challenges … and she hosts a linky party “UFO Busting,” so finishing UFOs is a focus for her!
Emily @ The Darling Dogwood been very busy. Along with her wonderful Island Batik challenges, she’s made several donation quilts and has worked on other projects as well! Enjoy scrolling through her posts!
Deana @ Dream Worthy Quilts has a goal tracker on the right side bar. I don’t think it’s been updated recently. She was at a family retreat in August and I think the whole family was quilting and sewing – what a lot of fun!
Elizabeth @ Applique and … has been working on various projects, but I’m not sure if they are new starts or UFOs. I’m sure she’ll update us soon!
Sharon @ Adventures in Fiber has not posted any quilty posts lately …
My Favourite Finish in October
Was my Island Batik “Top it Off” Table runner. You can read about it HERE.

Love your table runner, those pumpkins are just so cute. Just two months left in the year and I’m pretty sure I’m not earning my PHD this year. Have you finished yours?

Hi Kate!
I saw your chart on the blog … it’s OK if you don’t get your PHD this year … there is always next year – right? 🙂
No, I’m not finished my PHD … I still have one UFO and a ton of 2019 starts to finish!
Hopefully, I’ll get them all done and get my own PHD! 🙂
Happy Quilting! 🙂

Hi Denise,
Last century, I worked in a fabric store and learned to sew rayon. The key was always to wash and dry it before cutting it out. That way after the garment is finished, it can be washed and dried with no problem! I love wearing rayon … cool in summer, warm in winter!
Thanks for hosting Put your foot down!

Hi Gail! Another beautiful top – both fabrics you used are just gorgeous. Such rich jewel tones on both of them. I received a package of goodies from you today! I’ll share all the details in a post next week, but didn’t want to wait to send a personal thank you. Thank you so very much! ~smile~ Roseanne
