7. Today: Celebrate Success!

Unknown.jpegRight now, in this time of chaos, uncertainty and the unknown, it is important that we Celebrate Success!  I know that most of us are starting to settle into our “Stay at Home,” “Lockdown” or whatever situation we are in.  I know for myself, this is really, really important as we learn to adapt to our new reality!

We need to congratulate ourselves on the goals that we have accomplished … or the individual step or steps to reach the goal.  We NEED to appreciate what we have done or accomplished!

SEW … what have YOU been successful with?  Do you have a flimsy? A totally spotless sewing room (LIAR!!)?  A partly spotless sewing room?  A plan for finishing that UFO that’s been begging to get finished?

Each of our successes releases endorphins (the feel-good hormones), but we need to acknowledge the successes for what they are!

Share your success with the rest of us!

Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup - March 2020Favourite Finish

At the end of each month, Cheryl, from Meadow Mist Designs holds a linky party where everyone post a picture of their favourite finish of the month.

My Favourite Finish for March is my “Circles” quilt!  It represents struggles that I previously had with curved piecing.  I now feel successful and am starting to look at curves in a whole different way!  You can read more about this quilt HERE.

There are no changes in my Excel sheet from the last time I posted.  No finishes, nothing new started!

  3. Well done on the positive movement on your charts! I feel good as I’ve made a start on something that has been on my list to start for a long time (2 years in fact – a quilt for my grandson) but it has meant little work on my PHD projects. It will be so good to get this done though 🙂

    • Hi Raewyn,
I’m glad that you’re feeling good about your quilt for your grandson! Things that we have planned in our heads can drag us down as much as a zillion UFOs! I look forward to seeing this one finished!
      Happy Quilting! 🙂
