Blog Hop Round Up Week 3

Second:  Here’s what’s happening in my sewing life!

Design Wall

Piecing:

Frolic: I’ve started to sew the rows together …

Florabunda: This is a free pattern from Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville.com  You can access the pattern HERE.  I haven’t touched this UFO for absolutely ages.  This is a quilt that is fairly mindless.  It’s mostly cut out and I just need to sew and sub-cut.  It’s a project that I have carried around, just in case I need something else to sew.  I was sewing with friends this weekend and because my machine quilting was not good, these blocks came out.  These 12 blocks will join the others that are already done.  There is a TON more blocks to make, sew … it might just become my leader and ender project!

“Dust off your book”:  It’s a work in progress and I can’t show you until the blog hop … hosted by Bea Lea @ Beaquilter.

Quilting:

52 blocks in 52 weeks: I started to quilt this, but the quilting is HORRID!!! SEW, I’ll be rippping it out.  I’m not sure if it’s my machine or me … I’ll try again tomorrow and see what’s happening.

I’m linking up to Roseanne & Sue’s “TO DO” Tuesday. Their blog is “Home Sewn by Us.”

No UFO finishes.

I started the March Island Batik project.  It’s using an Accuquilt die.  And I’m loving it!

  1. Hi Gail! That project looks like a fabulous choice as a leader/ender. You’ll have those tons of blocks complete in no time. You did well on your to-do list last week. Everything is moving forward. Thanks in advance for linking up tomorrow! ~smile~ Roseanne

    • Thank you, Bonnie!!
It is fun to play with circles!! But, I certainly understand having committed to other things … the list can be long …
And yes, the stash is decreasing, but you’d never know it to look at it!
      Happy Quilting! 🙂
