That’s correct … I’m not starting just one new project … but 3!!!!
Mystery quilts are a great, great temptation to me … and there are 2 that have left me wondering “should I or shouldn’t I?” Well, the answer is I shouldn’t but I’m going to!
#1 Square Dance

From My Carolina Home is offering “Square Dance.” This is the one that is already started with the clues named after the calls or moves in square dancing. Fun!
SEW: I have started sewing the first few clues, you can see the 9 patches here. I’m making this with Kansas Troubles … a favourite fabric line! And all from my stash. This is going to be a small quilt … a table topper. It should be doable and easily finished by the end of the year. (If I want to get my PHD in 2018 – it has to be finished!) Continue reading

The quilting will be very similar to what I did in this Labyrinth #1.



I may take one new project to work on … Dr. Suess quilt, a bag, or something using some fat quarters or a layer cake or ??? (hmm that’s more than one) … but I wouldn’t want to run out of projects, would I? And, I am going for a week!

A friend saw a quilt that I had made in 2007 on my Facebook page. She asked if I had the pattern. I couldn’t find the pattern any where. I looked through all my files – both paper and on the computer.
