I have no finishes this week … except for this one mask. My daughter asked me to make it for a coworker of hers … his nick-name is Plant Dad … so, via messenger, we picked out the fabric and she asked that Plant Dad be stitched in their company’s pink colour. Apparently he said, “I really love this.”

Piecing:
Masks: lots in progress. I started serging the ties – much easier!!! And a friend gave me some florist wire – much nicer for the nose & should hold up better than pipe cleaners!![]()
Pillow Cases: Some in progress … for a guild charity … It was an opportunity to go through my stash and pick out some fabric …

#1:

Last month, for the Island Batik challenge, I HAD to use the “Glorified 9 Patch” Accuquilt Go! die. And, I made the quilt on the right. You can read more about it on

Right now, in this time of chaos, uncertainty and the unknown, it is important that we Celebrate Success! I know that most of us are starting to settle into our “Stay at Home,” “Lockdown” or whatever situation we are in. I know for myself, this is really, really important as we learn to adapt to our new reality!

This month’s Island Batik challenge is to use the Accuquilt die we were given in January.
